| Bewitched #110: Business, Italian Style
Sound effects blooper! When Samantha is in the living room trying to teach Darrin English, Larry
rings the doorbell. (We hear the Stephens' usual, simple doorbell ring.)
After Sam peeks out the window to see who it is, the doorbell rings again, but this time it's a different ring (tubular bells)!

| Bewitched #111: Double, Double Toil and Trouble
When Samantha returns from the bazaar (carrying a pie for Darrin, which leads
to the infamous pie-throwing scene), she leaves her purse on the small piece
of furniture in the foyer just inside the front door. She then walks over to the
TV set and puts the pie box down on top of it, and all of a sudden, her purse is in her
arm again! |
| Bewitched #111: Double, Double Toil and Trouble
This is supposed to be inside Samantha's tiny kitchen broom
closet! You are supposed to believe it's much bigger in this episode I
guess. However, I doubt that huge white freezer would fit inside
the set's real broom closet, which measures only about
24 inches by 29 inches! |
| Bewitched #111: Double, Double Toil and Trouble
In the infamous pie fight scene, Endora's makeup is suddenly simplified in
the shot where she gets the pie in the face! Also, she closes her eyes
in anticipation of getting hit, making it quite obvious that she knew well in
advance a pie was coming her way. |
| Bewitched #111: Double, Double Toil and Trouble
When Serena gets her pie-in-the-face, her wig flies up as she is hit, revealing
the blonde hair underneath (as it was, of course, just Elizabeth Montgomery in
disguise). The left image shows "Serena" just before getting pied,
and the right image shows her just after the pie hits, with force,
and her head is still rocked back. There is some pie filling involved,
but you can see blond hair (especially atop her forehead) and how much the
wig slipped. By the time
Serena had her head back to a normal position, the wig is back almost to
its original position, but the amount of pie in the way makes it
difficult to see that the wig is not exactly where it belonged. |
| Bewitched #113: No Zip in My Zap
This scene from the end of the episode shows the Stephens' bedroom. Since
when was it painted white? |
| Bewitched #115: The Safe and Sane Halloween
Just as in episodes #100 and #198, you can see that the porch roof outside the front door is fake.
There is nothing above the white horizontal beam. (Sorry this image doesn't show it very well.) |
| Bewitched #117: That Was No Chick, That Was My Wife
This is supposed to be a scene outside Darrin's office building in New York City.
Since when did the mountains in the background spring up in New York? Those
mountains are actually the ones south of Burbank, California, as this shot is from
Columbia Ranch, looking south toward the park. (The building on the right
still exists today; check out my
photo from 1998.) |
| Bewitched #121: My, What Big Ears You Have
In this shot, the kitchen cupboards are missing behind Samantha! They usually begin nine of those
wallpaper squares to the right of the small offset in the wall above her head. |

| Bewitched #121: My, What Big Ears You Have
On the sign in the hotel lobby advertising
the antique dealers show, the word "antique" is spelled "antigue"! |
| Bewitched #123: Humbug Not to Be Spoken Here
At the beginning of this episode, Sam is deciding where to put the
Christmas tree. She zaps it to where the TV usually is, then points over to the
front corner of the house to zap it there instead. When the camera
changes to show the tree moved, it is now in the back corner of
the house in front of the patio doors, instead of the front corner where
she originally pointed. |
| Bewitched #125: Once in a Vial
The kitchen window, toaster and formica splashback disappear behind Endora from one shot to the next! |
| Bewitched #126: Snob in the Grass
There's a shot of Samantha talking in front of the east kitchen wall, with
no washer or dryer! But Darrin won't have to worry about buying another
washer and dryer, because they re-appear in the very next shot! The shots
were probably filmed months apart, as Sam's hair changes from its
typical "3rd season look" to 4th. The audio was also
different between the 3rd and 4th seasons, and Sam's voice quality
differs slightly in this transformation, becoming slightly deeper and
more mellow. Also, Endora's hair drastically
changes in this scene, right after Samantha's does. It becomes
somewhat shorter towards the end of this scene. |
| Bewitched #127: If They Never Met
Endora decides to give 1164 two front doors. When Darrin storms out past
the first one, he crashes into the second one, which opens up a fair bit (first
image). In the next shot (bottom image), it's closed again! The door wasn't really
supposed to open at all. |
| Bewitched #127: If They Never Met
As Samantha and Endora stand in front of Darrin's office building, we see
that McMann and Tate have TWO signs on the front of the building! One says
"McMann & Tate Advertising" and the other says "McMann-Tate Advertising". |
| Bewitched #131: How Green Was My Grass
Big blooper, small in size! (Note: these images are not very high quality at
all.) There is a scene (shot from the street) where Sam backs the car out of
the driveway slightly to the left, changes gears, then proceeds forward down the
street to the right. If you look in the rear view mirror, you will find a man,
with sunglasses, light shirt and dark pants, sitting in a chair watching her!
A peeping Tom, or could it be the director?! To the right of the man you can
catch a glimpse of camera equipment. First, there appears
to be a man in a hat in her windshield mounted mirror. His image appears in the left
side and moves all the way across the mirror to the right. Then the fun begins in
the side mirror, again starting on the left side. The small images at the
bottom show a
man's face in the side mirror, and then another man (with a white shirt)
who seems to be holding papers or something. This third man is on the screen
the longest, and the view of him changes slightly during the scene. |
| Bewitched #131: How Green Was My Grass
This is a major continuity flaw that could easily have been prevented.
An incorrect house number of "162" was placed near the doorbell, but the
"real" address of course should be 1164. In the episode, the 6 gets turned
upside down by accident, and the men install the fake lawn at the wrong house.
So why didn't they just use "1164", which also has a 6 as the second-last digit?! |
| Bewitched #132: To Twitch or Not to Twitch
These images are from the high-speed dressing scene in the beginning of the episode.
I wonder if Samantha is aware that her dress is partly unfastened in middle
of her back? I'll bet she'd be glad it didn't fall off! |
| Bewitched #132: To Twitch or Not to Twitch
Another blooper from Sam's high-speed dressing scene! When
Darrin storms out of the bedroom, he leaves the door open, but in the fast-motion sequence that follows,
you can see the bedroom door is closed! When she finishes dressing, the camera cuts to Darrin
standing in the doorway, now open. |
| Bewitched #135: I Confess
Right after Sam pops everyone out, look at the floor at the lower-left.
You can see their shadows as they walk away. The clip of them walking quickly
off screen was chopped to give the effect of disappearance. |
| Bewitched #135: I Confess
While Samantha is watching Darrin dreaming, her hairstyle keeps
changing from her regular combed-straight-back-with-no-part
to a parted-on-the-side hairdo. |
| Bewitched #138: The No-Harm Charm
Uncle Arthur gives Darrin a "lucky charm", which is really just the
ornament off the top of a lamp. When Samantha shows Darrin what it really
is, she screws it onto the lamp. A few minutes later, though,
she plucks it right off the lamp, without unscrewing it.
(In reality, it probably wasn't part of the lamp at all.) |
