Here are images from December 15, 2002... 3 days into the project. The entire set of beamwork is nearly finished, now including the dropped ceiling in the dining room. Also new is the living room fireplace. Again, the textures are not mapped and positioned yet. Here I have not yet created the fireplace texture, so what you're seeing is the kitchen wall brick on the fireplace and one of Quake's default blue textures on the hearth. Those are the actual chimney flues sticking up out of the fireplace! To browse the other images, just click on any of the colored dots:
